I have just been cast in Crown Point Community Theatre's production of Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” this summer! This is a featurette of the late, great Elizabeth Taylor playing Kate – the “shrew” of the title – in the 1967 film adaptation; Richard Burton (Taylor’s husband at the time) plays opposite her as Petruchio, who tries to win Kate’s heart in spite of her reluctance.
